Chapel Department

Since part of our main goal is to raise students that are spiritually matured, the school Chapel gives us an avenue through which this can be done.  The department is fully staffed with four full time Pastors who are always available to minister and attend to the spiritual needs and welfare of the students.

Programme

Daily, weekly and special programme are regularly held in the school premises.

Daily

These include early morning and evening devotional services.  All boarding students converge at 6:00am everyday for praises, bible reading and prayers.  They do so again after supper and before the night Prep to worship and thank God for the day.

Weekly

Services are held every Sunday for the students.  The programme involves Sunday school, praise and worship, prayers and sharing of God's word. Reputable servants of God are invited from far and near to minister during these Sunday services.

Special Programmes

  1. The school commences each term with three days of fasting and prayer.  Every member of staff of the school is required to participate in this special programme.  A repeat of the same kind of programme is held after the mid-term break.

  2. Special night vigils are held where at least seven reputable ministers come each term to pray for the students and staff.  Other night vigil programme are also held in the school.  This usually comes up once or twice each term and are handled by internal ministers on such occasions.

  3. There is also a three day power packed teaching and ministration programme held in the school.  This kind of meeting features prominent servants of God from across the nation.  It usually comes up immediately after the terminal examinations and before students proceed on holidays. The meeting is usually concluded with a love feast on the third day.

  4. Regular counselling and deliverance ministrations are also held for students who may need them.  The office of the chaplain is opened daily for this.

  5. Film Programme - Highly motivational and inspirational films effective for sound moral and academic upbringing are shown to the students from time to time.

  6. Inter departmental Fasting and Prayer Meeting are also held with the aim of committing the members of each Department of the school and the school at large to God in prayers.

  7. Weekly Staff Fellowship, featuring teachings, prayers and special seminars.  This is mainly for members of staff.

Great testimonies have always come in as to what God has used the above programmes to do in the lives of both students and staff members alike.
